Dental Veneers or Braces?

Go with braces. Veneers are a bad idea. They don't fix any problem, they just cover it up to make it look nicer. It's kind of like painting a moldy wall to make it look better. Sure, you won't see the mold, but it's causing an awful lot of problems under there. It's better to take the time and pay the money to fix the problem. And, frankly, if your orthodontist said you need braces for 2 years, your teeth are not "perfectly straight", otherwise, you wouldn't need braces. And looking at your picture, it appears that you have quite an overbite. Veneers can do nothing to fix that. Go with braces. Your teeth will actually be fixed, and if you do what you're supposed to, will last forever. Also, they are so much easier to fix when you are younger.
