Was this mean advise I told my mom about what she needs to do to get a promotion?? i thinks she's mad :(?

Unless your mom's job success solely depends on her looks, your suggestions are uncalled for. Yes you mom could do all the things you said, but some other women who are younger and prettier could easily beat her chances if looks are crucial in getting a promotion. You are focusing on the wrong criteria, a promotion should depend on performance, attitude, experience, hard work and knowledge.
