They are calling it a real life “Footloose scenario.” Supposedly, dancing will only be allowed in designated “entertainment zones.” Is this the kind of progress liberals are hoping for?

For some reason my iphone wont make any noise. When I take pictures, my I get call.... so when someone calls me I have no idea! It's really annoying. I looked in Settings>Sounds> and the ringer volume is up all the way, and all the other sound options or in the ON position, so wtf! Is it a malfunction? The only time i can get it to make noise if I have an app open or I'm watching Youtube on it...

Do i need a moisture barrier between brick and batt insulation?

I am renovating a room in my brick veneer house with stud framed walls. I have torn down the old walls so now all that is left is the studs and brick. I am going to be adding batt insulation with the vapor barrier/paper face in towards the room. Do I also need some type of moisture barrier between the brick and insulation, such as felt or similar? Something that is not a vapor barrier but will retard some moisture/wind that seeps through the brick?

Can my teeth be saved?

All of my front teeth are very loose,l really don't know why for sure but I think is a combination of celiac disease and the fact that I clench at night. I am beginning to realize i have some issues with anxiety and coping with stress. Anyway, I am finding it hard not to eat wheat, because gluten free products and meat are so expensive. I do not have dental insurance, I am going to get a night guard from the store as soon as i can. This first started happening when I went all raw for 3 months, which is why I stopped, because i heard that going raw can cause dental problems from all the sugar and lack of calcium. Then, a couple of months after i quit raw, they firmed up again, but now are just as loose or even more than they were when i was raw. I wonder if it could be from stress, because it seems that they just took about 2 or 3 weeks to become loose this time, and the last 2-3 weeks i have been seriously stressed. When i was raw i was really irritable as well. So what do you guys think it is, celiac, stress or both. My teeth are not bleeding, i do not have bad breath. What should I do to prevent further looseness, I am trying my best to relax so that maybe i will stop clenching at night. How much are dental implants, bridges, veneers?

I did what you are doing and I have ended up with my enamel being eaten away and my teeth are now in DREADFUL, stained condition!!!!!!! House flooded. Is the insurance co being fair to me?

I would seek advice from a professional flooring installer. If they can give you some supporting information that the flooring was damaged when water got beneath the vinyl your insurance company will probably change their mind. Ask the ins co which flooring company they regularly use in your area and have them inspect the floor. That way they will be more receptive to the claim. Good Luck

actually, the main problem is that you let it go to seed. this tells the plant that it's job of propogating itself is done! when herbs go to seed to soon, the plant usually doesn't recover. i had the same trouble with my oregano a year or two ago. in the future, pick off the flower buds as they form. this actually forces the plant to grow bigger and stronger, sending out more flowers to try to propogate. you might as well harves what you can now, buddy. sorry.

Dishwasher Malfunction?

I have a three year old Magic Chef dishwasher. About once a week (or every third time trying to use it), it goes nutty. Nothing happens when you hit the buttons - doesn't start. It gets power just fine because the "delay wash" lights will light up - in fact, they will light up and flash, but then that's it - they shut right back off. This will go on for a couple of days, and then out of the blue, when I push the "start" button again, it will run - with me having done nothing to the actual dishwasher. Any ideas? Nothing in the troubleshooting portion of the manual at all. In fact, that manual was worthless.

Well, I fractured the last tooth on the upper left side of my mouth. The dentist told me that I needed to get a metal crown too. He said gold actually. I ended up with white gold, but the front of it was white. The reason for this he explained was this..... the further back your teeth are from the front, the shorter they get. When you get a crown, they shave your tooth down. But, since it was the last tooth, and already short, they didn't want to shave away my whole tooth. Using a metal crown would allow them not to shave as much of my tooth away, but is still strong enough for the tooth to do its job. The front is white, so that when you smile, you wont see this gold tooth. But, you can't see my last tooth when I smile anyway. But, maybe it does show for some people. Hope this helps.

Why don't we all just get dentures? We already pull our teeth around with braces and cover them up with veneers and crowns so since our teeth are fake anyways, why not just save ourselves the hassle (and money) and get them all pulled and replaced with implanted dentures?

Car FOB malfunctioning again?

A few weeks ago I asked a question about my car FOB not working. Once in a while it would not unlock the car with the FOB and when I used the key, it wouldn't let the car turn on and the car would start beeping very loudly. A few days after I asked the question on here, the battery died. Thinking it was an electrical issue draining something somewhere, I took it to the dealer since my car is still under warranty. It's a 2008 Hyundai Accent. They told me all it needed was a new battery, so I bought one and everything worked perfectly. The FOB worked, the car turned on, etc. About two days ago, the FOB issue started up again. I immediately stopped using the FOB so that it wouldn't set the alarm. I took the car back to the dealership and they tested the FOB several times and it worked. I told them that sometimes it doesn't work and I can't start my car and I don't want to be stranded. They have pretty much told me that unless it's currently not working while it's in their possession, they can't do anything to help me. I don't want to take my car home and then be stranded somewhere in the middle of the city! My car is under warranty so I am not sure if I can take it to a random electrical mechanic. What do I do? I can't believe they're just basically telling me "sorry about your luck"!

Here's the deal: I chipped my front tooth and the dentist suggested veneers, but the thought of them having to shave off my teeth scares me. Should I just ask for them to file my teeth down? There is no such thing as big boned. Anyone can look great if they work at it hard enough. I know it might suck and cliche but the way to get good looking is to work out, run, and eat less calories. A body burns about 2000 calories a day, so if you eat under 2000 and work out everyday you will lose weight. Honestly, if you want it you have to push for it and not cheat. Good luck.

How to get over my pool light phobia? (Its weird i know)?

So since i was little i was uncomfortable about the idea of elecricity mixed with water even with saftey precautions... but i eventually got over and forgot about it until a few years ago about 3 when i was swimming at night and i was underwater right under the light and it went off... i freaked out almost got a heart attack and as i got to the surface and it was right in front of me it turned back on and i thought i was gonna get electrocuted, so i jumped out of the pool and shut it off..... i didnt swim at night or use the light at all until a year later when i gave it a try and it worked for the first few weeks then it happened again 3 times in a row then it wouldnt turn on at all for the like 8 hours... so i never until this date used it. I'm 17 and my dad doesnt want to get it checked out as we are not going to use it again... and recently i tried to test the GFCI to see if it would trip the light but the test button was stuck and the light remained on. So now i am sooooo scared to swim in a pool at all with any light at any time of the day. I tried to go today but i couldnt take my eyes off it because im afraid that if i turn around it will turn on and malfunction... im just paranoid even if its off. Is there any way i can go swimming without always being paranoid of the light. Like i said im 17 and my dad doesnt think it needs to be checked and wont do it, but im still scared as ****..... please help

Okay. So about a month and a half ago I bought 2 grams of blue dream weed from a friend. I smoked it a few times and I loved it. So then one day I had a baseball game and i got mad at my dad who is a coach and I threatened to not go to the game if he didn't do something and he didn't so he left and I stayed home. I was extremely mad at him so I decided to smoke some of my blue dream. I rolled a joint and smoked it. It was a pretty decent size and I took probably 15-20 decent rips which is a lot. I walked inside and was doing homework and then it kicked in. I went outside and it felt like I was dead literally. I was tweaking so bad so I called a friend and he came over. When he was on his way I went inside. I started to walk up my stairs and I saw an un-describable picture in my head. I kept walking and all of the sudden everything went blurry and super fast motion and I laid down. I couldn't control anything - what I was doing, saying, etc. I kept seeing pictures in my head and also numbers. It looked like it was a movie in front of me and i can only describe it as it looked like my childhood for some reason. My eyes would just look at a few things and then fixate on a random thing. It was the scariest thing I have every experienced in my life. I can't really explain it anymore. So anyway, a few nights ago I snuck out with my friend, his girlfriend, and also a friend who is a girl. So we were on a golf course and we decided to go somewhere else so we all stood up but I was a little behind. I popped a piece if mentos gum into my mouth. I few seconds after my mouth and throat went as dry as they've ever been. I tried to scream to them but i couldn't out get anything out. I leaned over and tried to talk. One of my friends turned around and said dude are you okay. I couldn't talk still. It lasted for about 15 seconds if no breathing. But while I was "choking" I saw the same things I saw when I tripped really bad and that was over a month ago. My eyes fixated on things the same way as before. So then I told my friends what happened. I told my guy friend about the incident that happened because he smokes weed too. We decided to go into one of my friends car and just sleep. Then when I woke up me my friend went home. So now it has been a few days and sometimes I feel like life is fake. It feels like a dream and everytime I think about life not being real I totally zone out. I feel high all of the time. I eat a lot, and enshrine I start talking to someone I forget what I am saying. And when I do something I don't remember what I am doing. I have a terrible memory now. absolutely terrible. Salicylic acid in acne treatment? Please help?

I bought a facial cleanser at my local drugstore because we went on vacation and I had forgotten to pack my facial products from my normal skin routine. The cleanser is from the brand L'oreal. It's called the 'Go 360 Clean Anti-Breakout Facial Cleanser Salicylic Acid Acne Treatment' I am a 15 year old girl with oily skin and some acne scars, but nothing too serious. After using the cleanser for two nights in a row, nothing had really changed, I felt like it actually helped my acne a lot, and I could definitely see a difference. Throughout the week though, my skin started getting drier each day, and skin soon began peeling around my nose mostly, and my T-zone and areas that were normally dry became extremely dry. I stopped using the cleanser and went back to my normal skin care routine, which is the Proactiv 3 step 30 day program. My skin stopped peeling since then, but today I noticed two dark, brown rough patches on my skin, both on the side of my face. They look like discoloration because they are darker than my skin, and they feel extremely rough and dry, even after using moisturizer. Does anybody know the cause for my skin becoming dry/peeling? What are the cause of my brown patches, and did the salicylic acid have anything to do with it? How can I get rid of these rough patches?

Okay I need major help? Sims 3 and computer problems?

Okay so, I LOVE to play the Sims 3. And I've been majorly mad for the longest time, because I bought the Sims 3 the day it came out and when it came I was so excited and I put it on my Dell Windows Vista computer, and for a while it worked GREAT! But then in the middle of the game it would all of a sudden freeze. I thought it was nothing for a while and just started playing again. But then it started to like.. I don't know how to explain it? Like it would freeze and then all of a sudden the screen would go black. Like just blank. Then the Sims would pop back up, but MUCH less bright. It was really dim and all that jazz. Then, it would do it repeatedly like 5 minutes after the last one, and then it just shuts my computer off? Like it makes it restart and everything? So I want to know whats wrong and how to fix it? Because I haven't been able to play it in forever without it messing my computer up. Oh also when the computer comes back on the icons or whatever will be like HUGE! Also this never happens with any of my other games, like Chocolatier 2 or anything like that, I can play for hours on those and my computer is fine. Also it doesn't malfunction at other times. 1997 Saturn Sc2 high pressure cam cover oil leak!?

I have a 1997 Saturn Sc2 with a 1.9 ltr dual overhead cam engine. When I bought the vehicle, it came with a nasty overused cam cover gasket and was leaking oil through the gasket, so we thought that the gasket was the cause. We then replaced the gasket but even then oil still continued to seep under the cover. We figured this must be a result of high pressure under the cam cover. We proceeded to lift the PCV valve to find the cam cover blowing air like a shop-vac in reverse, indicating a huge unnecessary amount of pressure under the cam cover. We feel as if this could be an issue with a cracked head or some malfunction of the head gasket, but are not quite sure. Please help.

My MacBook Pro is being uncooperative... Help?

I have a brand-new MacBook pro and some of the keys are malfunctioning. Double-functioning, really. The tab key and the key above it both produce "(tab) 'x" , the z and delete keys pull up my dashboard, the c key produces a c and some stacked-s-looking symbol, the v and b keys produce the corresponding letters with brackets ("v] and [b", n makes "n=" and m makes "m' ". For a bit, the keys stopped doing it (a minute or so) and they've been doing it ever since. I've tried resetting all the system preferences, restarting it out, etc. Can anyone help???

I would be looking for one of the Multiplexes. Perhaps Fernleaf, Alphonse Karr, Golden Goddess or Silver Stripe. You can go to one of the trade magazines (online) that we use to source some of the growers of various plants at www.plantfindervts.com and search for Bambusa in the green goods search. It will pull up a list of various bamboo and some growers. Some phone calls to them may get your answer. At my nursery it is just the Fernleaf and Hedge Bamboo in production. Dig up a little of the field grown stock bamboo and stick it in a container. With some water, fertilizer and weed control, a full 6-8' bamboo is produced in a 15 gallon container in as little as 18 months. Canes are smaller, typically less than an inch, but it is a good bamboo. The other species mentioned above get bigger canes over an inch. Oldhamii is the giant bamboo we used to grow (canes 4-6" and fast) but it was to fast and quickly became difficult to care for if there were not buyers. If you can find someone that has bamboo, of any kind, see if they will let cut/dig some of it out and start your own.

I have combination skin, I'm oily in the T-zone area but my cheeks are super dry I also have redness and I have these weird little spots on my face kinda like hives.. Recently, I found out that one of my favorite singers had lost her memory. I worried that these could lead to Grand Mal Seizures and that she could lose her life because her boyfriend is tight on money and can't afford a medical bill, and he family is not aware of this, as they live in Canada instead of the United States, where she is currently with her boyfriend. He said that when she first woke up she didn't know who he was and thought he kidnapped her and attempted to injure him and that she also didn't realize who she was. Are these early signs of possibly a tumor or cancer in the part of the brain that stores memory? I don't know if this is fake or not, but if it is, it's a fake and sick prank. So, is any of this a symptom of brain malfunction or a strange type of disease?

Which finish would be best for a natural look exterior oak table?

I bought a large oak dining table from a warehouse sale thinking it would look great on the patio/back garden. On further inspection it appears that the legs and outer frame are solid, but the two inner pals that make up the table top are infact oak veneered chipboard. If i don't seal the top well, it will lift and spoil in no time. I have a 96 Ford Taurus 3.0Lt V-6. After warming up, while driving at any speed, the gas pedal will suddenly stop working. The engine still runs, but the gas pedal has no effect what-so-ever. Then at other times, mostly at higher speeds like on an interstate, I experience partial power loss. The gas pedal will only work a little bit. The car will slow to 45mph from 70mph. I pulled the trouble codes and there were three. O2 sensor circuit malfunction and the other two show lean in both banks. I replaced the O2 sensor as well as the fuel filter... This had no effect on the power loss problem. I was advised that it could be an old, deteriorating fuel feed hose that is collapsing in on itself, but which one? Does anyone know if the fuel pump is submerged on this model Taurus? Could it be the fuel pump sock? The fact that no codes are being thrown indicating a fuel system problem is puzzling. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Trouble codes P0440 and P0410?

2001 Chevy blazer 4.3 automatic. i have trouble codes p0440 (evap malfunction) tied in with p0410 (2ndary air malfunction). I replaced the air pump and new hose assembly. Light came back on with same two codes. (The pump sucks in air and works fine). I think I may have found the problem. I traced it to the 2 air check valves that lead into the manifold. If these are stuck open and/or detiorating, the evap system isn't achieving enough vacuum during it's test so the pressure drops and sets the p0440. Does this make sense to anybody or am i off base?

My Dad's short-term memory is somewhat slowing down.. there were times when he locked himself out of his house, and thanks to me being around and out of work, I was able to help him get back in. I worry about him. My brother started a new time-demanding office job, and we're proud of him. At the same time, he's not that available to help out my Dad, as he'd like. And we don't hold that against my bro at all.. I'm pleased that he's doing well (he was out of work prior to that too for awhile) and wish him much success. Okay I need major help? Sims 3 and computer problems?

Okay so, I LOVE to play the Sims 3. And I've been majorly mad for the longest time, because I bought the Sims 3 the day it came out and when it came I was so excited and I put it on my Dell Windows Vista computer, and for a while it worked GREAT! But then in the middle of the game it would all of a sudden freeze. I thought it was nothing for a while and just started playing again. But then it started to like.. I don't know how to explain it? Like it would freeze and then all of a sudden the screen would go black. Like just blank. Then the Sims would pop back up, but MUCH less bright. It was really dim and all that jazz. Then, it would do it repeatedly like 5 minutes after the last one, and then it just shuts my computer off? Like it makes it restart and everything? So I want to know whats wrong and how to fix it? Because I haven't been able to play it in forever without it messing my computer up. Oh also when the computer comes back on the icons or whatever will be like HUGE! The malfunction light came on this 05 Pacifica about a week ago. Just on not blinking and no differance in the cars performance. Toke it to a shop and got a diagnostic done which showed nothing was wrong and it wasnt giving off any codes or warnings ect (I am no mechanic so please excuse) after he toke it off then started it the light went off. This was 3 days ago and now it has come back on. What could be wrong? Is it serious?

Too young to have veneers ?

Well I'm 15 and feel that I really need them ... Long story short ... When I was young I hit of my front teeth , and it didn't end well , it didn't grow so I ended up with one teeth longer than the other ... and it has lower my confidence when talking, smiling, etc ... So do you think I can get veneers .. maybe ones that are temporary ?!?!? Plz HELP !!!

Small tooth to be built up?

I am getting my braces off in four weeks,but i have two undersized teeth at the front so my dentist suggested I get them built up by either a crown,veneer or white filling material..I am going to get it done at a cosmetic dentist surgery,not on the NHS (because there is a better colour range). I was just wondering which would be better to build up the two teeth and what is the rough cost? Thanks

It sounds like he likes you, guys can be off with you sometimes for no reason so I wouldn't look too much into that part. I say go for it, you only live once. You have nothing to loose, seriously! You'll regret it if you don't.

What can I do to fix the gap left by my adult tooth which fell out?

i have a porcelain veneer over my adult tooth and both the natural tooth and the veneer fell out. I now have a big gap! What are my options? I am on a very low income and live in Adelaide. I have a health care card. Thanks :-)

What is better for your teeth crowns or veneers?

My dentist suggest I get crowns instead of veneers because my teeth are thinning so bad. I don't know if I should get them though because they will have to make my teeth really small to put the crown on. Which is better? Is there any negative effects of crowns and do they look just like veneers? By the way I am 19 years old

It depends on how old the xbox is. If its a elite or the newer slim then its more. Also the older "pro" console isnt worth as much as a newer white console considering the red ring of death (i know it may not have it now but its still prone to getting it). But if i can tell you anything its DONT SELL YOUR CONSOLE AT GAMESTOP/EB. you will get less im positive. As a loose guess id say 100-150. That disc problem can really affect the value considering a fully functional xbox used is worth 150.

Hey guys, i hope you're having a wonderful day(: I am 14 years old and im a female. I have comedone acne (meaning white heads and blakheads, the hardest type of acne to treat) On my t-zone and my chest and upper back. I've been to the dermotologist and nothing worked. Im ready to give up. Does the clinique acne solution system work? Please only answer if you know someone or you are someone who has the same type of acne as me and has used the products.
